Valentine’s Day Crafts and Home Inspiration

Can you guys believe it’s almost Valentine’s Day? Time is just flying by these days, isn’t it? I’ve been trying to beat my winter blues by staying up my cozy faux fur blanket and searching Valentine’s Day decor on Pinterest. The girly girl in me loves a good excuse to cover everything in pink, hearts and glitter, but just a fair warning to you ladies that share a house with your man, he may be dying inside a little bit if you deck your house out in all the girliness that is Valentine’s Day decor! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Here’s some great ideas if you’re just feeling festive for the season, or if you’re throwing a party with your special someone, or a party with your closest girl pals.

House of Smiths

This display is fresh, and clean and has just enough pink to make it look festive without going over board and sending the men in your house mad. ๐Ÿ™‚

Selina Lake

This is absolute perfection! I’m swooning over this arrangement.. and all you need is some balloons and some flowers and arrange them however you’d like. SO beautiful!

Val Event Gal

I always love a good craft that starts with wood or paper mache letters. There’s always so many easy, but creative and beautiful things you can do with them, and these crepe paper flowers and ruffles are no exception.

Joss and Main

I love the pop of green in this display. I like to think there’s a subliminal message there saying “spring is coming, just hold out a little longer”. ๐Ÿ™‚

Create this beautiful arrangment with some painted candy boxes, a plantar and some bows and greenery.

The Crafting Chicks

This mantle is so adorable! I’m loving the garland and the heart shaped wreath.

Paper crafts are incredibly budget friendly, and this paper heart backdrop is way too cute!

Sister’s Suitcase Blog

Another great example of what you can do with some wooden or paper mache letters.

Damask Love

Turn your bar cart in to a Valentine’s Day themed display for your treats and goodies.

Stagetecture

Another budget friendly paper craft using an upcycled frame.

Go crazy with some old photos and some balloons for a super festive set up.

Lolly Jane

Keep the Christmas spirit alive into Valentine’s Day with the felt heart trees made from styrofoam cones.

Cuded

This mantle incorporates the cozy winter feel into the Valentine’s decor with the frosted pines cones. Create a similar space and snuggle up with your special someone. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Style Me Pretty

This pretty in pink look could be left up year round. It’s absolutely gorgeous and proves that all you need are some beautiful pink accents.

The Tom Kat Studio

On the contrary, you don’t have to incorporate and pink or red to get in to the Valentine’s Day spirit, and the men if your life may thank you for it. ๐Ÿ˜‰

ย My Frugal Musings

Extra pine cones laying around? Make this adorable heart shaped wreath!

Fynes Designs

This wreath is also an adorable, yet easy and frugal craft. Ps, this would also be super cute for a nursey or baby show. I love the idea of incorporating the blue.

Walk in Love

I love the idea of painting x’s and o’s on a white table cloth to display all your goodies on.

Shades of Blue Interiors

I love this little boho nook. I’m a sucker for anything ombre, so the heart has my heart! ๐Ÿ™‚

Mason Jar Crafts Love

If mason jars are your thing, paint some with some festive hearts and stripes and use them as vases.

Wanna deck out the exterior of your home? Get these hanging candy heartsย on Amazon.ย They’re super cute hanging from a tree, and would also look cute staggered across a front porch awning.

I hope you all enjoyed and found some inspiration for the up coming holiday! Let me know which crafts you plan on recreating! ๐Ÿ™‚
